Camera on platform near stern of double canoe, shooting down,
tied close to stern of double canoe is canoe "Riona" paddled
by three boys, Iaoni, Tauaia and Tara. Canoe is at camera right.
Behind Riona canoe toward camera paddle 8 other canoes. From
under platform of double canoe swim two little girls and one
boy, who grab at stern of Riona canoe; one girl gets it and
hangs on while other two are rapidly overtaken by oncoming
canoes. Two little boys then appear from under platform. One
of them grabs middle paddle of Riona canoe and is helped in.
Comment
The author of the typescript can not be identified. "Motutapu lagoon " in the Location field stands for "Motu Tapu lagoon." The entry "m metuapua" in the Costume Details field stands for "metuapua wreath."
