left knee raised, his right knee bent under him toward
left knee. his head is bent forward almost touching left
knee. his left hand resting on left by just [?] foot.
his right arm rests on mat before him on the [?]
[?] wreath on mat. Roo runs in from b.g. through door
of hut smiling. On right arm he carries grass skirt,
on left niau crown in [?] left hand shell anklets. Then
[?] then kneels down beside Matahi towards
him; strokes his left arm with his right, staring at
him compassionately.
[?] The floor of hut is covered with pandanus mats.
Rrops is in b.g. of hut.. camera right side of door: [?] on [?
2 empty husked coconuts hanging from wall with (wooden knife) between them
