[At another part of a lower pool sits
the beaten enemy, carefully attended
by the other girls. One holds the
beaten girl‘s head in her lap. A
soft wet leaf covering one eye is just
removed by one of the girls, to be
wetted again, and in this interval
we see a beautiful black eye. The
moment Teehu feels the leaf is not
on her eye, she is overcome by rage
again. She bends down, grabbing
the first stone she can lay her] [...]

Comment
The handwritten date "8/4/30" is from David Flaherty. The take number, added by hand, cannot be clearly attributed to a specific author. The red double lines make an association to pp. 16-23 of the film script and denote the "Bora" theme (see the film script, p. 23).
