Matahi. He is in a joyous, ex-
cited mood, but when he sees Matahi
forlorn and dejected he suddenly
stops, then walks slowly toward
Matahi and holds out to him the
things he should put on. Matahi
does not move. Then Roo touches
him; then not comprehending, but
feeling that all is not well with
Matahi, Roo withdraws his hand and
sits there staring at his big
brother with deep compassion.]
