Matahi's head wreath.. made of metuapua
Hair projects over his brow about 3 inches
below centre of wreath + almost over with lower
leaves of wreath. One rather large smooth leaf
projects out at slight downward angle over between
his eyes. To our left of it is another rather large
smooth leaf with tip broken off. Near centre of
wreath [?] are [?] small spotted leaves
[?] upper [?] lower [?] These small leaves point
toward our left. Over his right ear [?] hang
a couple of smooth leaves + behind them (toward
back of head) [?] several spotted leaves
quite long reaching way below his ears. Leaves
stand up on his head all the way around
Over his left ear there are [?] leaves stand out at
right [?] angle at back of ?? leaves are [?]
+ [?] out rather high at top.
