women and the mother around Reri.
The mother is now staring in the
direction where the guide has sat
down. Now she gives Reri a
frightened nudge. She bends her
head over and whispers something
in Reri‘s ear. Now for the first
time Reri lifts her head up from
her mother‘s lap, and still
sobbing she looks in the direction
where the old man is sitting. Then
she looks up toward the old women
who surround her, and crowding
closer around her they now succeed
in lifting her up.]
